Alliance and Partners
OBAT Helpers recognize that the involvement of local NGOs and community organizations is critical to underwrite the effectiveness, sustainability, accountability, transparency and quality of its various development initiatives. As part of our operational strategy to forge alliances with competent and experienced local organizations, OBAT Helpers has entered into strategic alliances with two visionary NGOs in Bangladesh. Together, we strive to create a new expanding set of practices of excellence on effective reconstruction & sustainable development.
- Humanity In Distress (HID)
- Integrated Service for Development of Children & Mothers (ISDCM)

Our partnership with Integrated Service for Development of Children & Mothers (ISDCM) is in tune with the OBAT development philosophy of involvement and empowerment. An eminent panel of former development professionals from various UN agencies and International developmental organizations has come together under the umbrella of ISDCM. The OBAT ISDCM alliance is leveraged to reap the maximum mileage out of its strategic emphasis on micro finance and sustainable development. The broad working guidelines encompass: (First pilot micro finance project detail )

OBAT in Education - Our first priority
In addition to different projects, with the partnership of HID we are presently helping four different camp schools in Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna and Rangpur. OBAT also successfully opened the OBAT Coaching Center in Rangpur on April 02, 2005. The center serves as an institute that teaches basic math, English, science, and economics to camp kids (grades 7-12), free of cost. This is the first model center of many we would like to open in different camps across Bangladesh to meet the need of better education for children and young adults. Of course, these centers are completely contingent upon the financial resources available to OBAT through donations and contributions. Presently, this first center has more than 70 students and 5 teachers.
