Alliance and Partners
OBAT Helpers recognize that the involvement of local NGOs and community organizations is critical to underwrite the effectiveness, sustainability, accountability, transparency and quality of its various development initiatives. As part of our operational strategy to forge alliances with competent and experienced local organizations, OBAT Helpers has entered into strategic alliances with two visionary NGOs in Bangladesh. Together, we strive to create a new expanding set of practices of excellence on effective reconstruction & sustainable development.
- Integrated Service for Development of Children & Mothers (ISDCM)
Our partnership with Integrated Service for Development of Children & Mothers (ISDCM) is in tune with the OBAT development philosophy of "involvement and empowerment". An eminent panel of former development professionals from various UN agencies and International developmental organizations has come together under the umbrella of ISDCM. The OBAT - ISDCM alliance is leveraged to reap the maximum mileage out of its strategic emphasis on micro finance and sustainable development. The broad working guidelines encompass:
· Providing life skill through non-formal & vocational education
· Building awareness on health, nutrition, sanitation and hygiene
· Ensuring empowerment of women through education, entrepreneurial training and micro-financing
