Qurbani Program

2009 Qurbani/ Udhiyah program with the most forgotten and ignored people of the world, Urdu-Speaking people, commonly known as  Biharis, living in the camps for the last 4 decades in different cities of Bangladesh. 2009 Qurbani in  Cities  #of Cows  #of Goats  Rangpur  31  19  Chittagong  21  25  Syedpur  11  50  Dhaka  7  4  Khulna  4  24  Gaibandah  3  4  Bogra  0  34  Total  77  160  All thanks to God for being able to distribute meat to thousands of people in different camps for Qurbani season-2009.     77 cows and 160 goats' meat have been disributed in the cities of Chittagong, Dhaka, Khulna, Gaibandah, Bogra, Rangpur & Saidpur. For most of the families this is the only time in the year when they are able to have meat as part of their meal. We have received qurbani donation from 14 different states (CA, IN, KY, MD, MO, NJ, NV, NY, TX, FL, GA, OH, & PA), Canada and some other countries around the world. This year we were able to distribute meets to almost 9287 families.
