Increasing the standard of education in the camps has been a focus for OBAT since the beginning. Recently we have started an English medium school in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. We are also managing 4 other schools and OBAT Tutoring Centers in Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna, Rangpur & Mymensingh. We are also providing financial support on different levels of education from high school to Masters. We Distribute books, uniforms, and other necessities for students enrolled into our school system.

Economical empowerment is the backbone of any society. During 2007 the micro financing project grew to over 303 individual projects in 3 camps in Syedpur. In 2008, eleven more camps were added and an additional 1,014 projects. Between 2007 and 2008 14 camps were involved and more than 1300 projects. They are mostly involved in businesses such as: rickshaw service, small shops, cattle, embroidery/knitting, repair shops, food service, sewing and other home-based projects. Our goal is to expand our services to 5000 families in next 3 years.
