For the past 20 years, OBAT Helpers has been empowering underserved communities in Bangladesh through education, healthcare, and essential services that foster resilience and self- reliance.
The OBAT Healthcare Center serves both camp and local communities by providing free consultations, affordable or free medicines, and emergency care. It also offers chronic disease management, physiotherapy, referrals to specialized hospitals, discounted diagnostics, and runs health awareness programs on hygiene and healthy living.
Since 2007, the OBAT Healthcare Center in Rangpur has provided compassionate primary care, addressing nearly 100,000 medical cases with comprehensive, patient-centered support.

Impact
The clinic served 1,523 patients in 2007, peaked at 9,432 in 2019, and treated 7,834 patients in 2025 over 270 working days. In 2025, 13% of the patients were children under five and 87% over five, with 67% female and 33% male, reflecting OBAT’s sustained focus on accessible care, especially for women and older patients. The most treated illness in 2025 was Common Cold (14.6%), followed by Hypertension (14.0%), showing both seasonal infections and a high non- communicable disease burden. Anemia (11.2%) and Diabetes Mellitus (10.5%) point to persistent nutritional and chronic challenges, while Asthma (8.3%) indicates ongoing respiratory vulnerability.
