Dr. Dilara Sultana was born in Bangladesh, where she studied her BSc in Physics at Dhaka University and holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Delaware. She is currently living in Greenwood, Indiana, and has been involved in different volunteering activities at the ICNA food pantry and other volunteer work in the community.

She has 10+ years of teaching experience at universities and colleges and has an extensive research background. She works as a patent examiner, with expertise in the evaluation of intellectual properties for the United States Patent Office in Alexandria, VA.
