Imran Uddin is an independent consultant in Ottawa, focusing on monitoring and evaluating humanitarian and development programs. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Economics in Bangladesh, he began his 15+ year career at ActionAid, managing emergency relief and disaster preparedness projects in coastal areas. From 2013 to 2019, he held senior roles at Swisscontact Worldwide, where he designed monitoring systems for vocational training programs that specifically helped women, ethnic minorities, and disadvantaged communities. Since 2020, he has provided high-quality data analytics and evaluations for major international groups like UN agencies and the Red Cross. Following his 2023 AI/Machine Learning diploma in Toronto, Imran now blends advanced data science with his extensive field experience to improve programs serving vulnerable populations.
