In addition to his pioneering contributions to high-energy physics, Tariq designed a massively parallel processing (MPP) system capable of handling petabytes of data and managing the $1.8 trillion student loan portfolio-a testament to his innovative approach and technical acumen.

He played a significant role in Telecom Technology development while working for GTE, Verizon, Frontier and AT&T.
